The Club welcomes all calibres and abilities of performers, including singers, musicians, and poets. Our singarounds thrive on variety, such as, country music, classical guitar, americana, self-compositions and covers as well as the traditional, contemporary and unaccompanied folk songs (Whatever inspires you, bring it along!). So you see our interests are broader than just Folk. If it is live and acoustic then we'll love it.

 

This is where your individual hard work and practice can be appreciated in public and "first timers" are given every encouragement.

 

Please note that this club has always been promoting live music and the use of pre recorded backing tracks will be discouraged.

 

Joining in is desirable but not compulsory and our singarounds/open mics have many folk who just love to listen and appreciate real live and emotional performances. The spontaneous, friendly banter among the regulars are part of the traditional fun!
